Debra B. Hodgson, M.Ed., Elementary Administrator
Mrs. Hodgson earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Middle School Education with endorsements in Math and Science from Radford University. She recieved her K-12 endorsement in Gifted Education from Shenandoah University. She also has earned her Master’s Degree in Supervision and Instruction from Liberty University. Mrs. Hodgson has a passion for helping children with all academic needs and feels that Winchester Academy is a place that helps all students be successful. As a co-founder of Winchester Academy she has held true to the mission and vision of the school, while integrating ways to continue to improve the high standards already set for the students and staff of WInchester Academy.
Cheryl A. Cintron, M.Ed., Middle and High School Administrator
Mrs. Cintron earned her Associates in Mathematics from the Community College of the Fingers Lakes in Canandaigua, New York, went on to earn a Bachelors of Secondary Education in Mathematics from Shepherd University and later received her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. She has taught in both public and private settings and is committed to the vision and mission of Winchester Academy. Her belief is that when you assist students in recognizing their God-given talents and work a curriculum around their individual gifts that they will become excellent in that area of strength. She has developed a program at the middle and high school level which allows for each child to grow in their areas of interest and she promotes a school atmosphere of individual success. Mrs. Cintron believes that all students have a purpose and it is the job of educators to guide students in finding that purpose as well as provide them with the skills necessary to be successful in life. As a co-founder of Winchester Academy, and a believer in the need for individualized learning, she is committed to the standard education of basic knowledge while educating students in a concentration of their gifts and talents.
Tina Heironimus, Preschool Administrator
Mrs. Heironimus pursued her degree in Elementary Education at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida where she met her husband, a native of Winchester. Ms.Heironimus joined Enrichment Services in 2001 as a 3-year-old teacher the first year the preschool opened. She was instrumental in developing the school’s curriculum. She was appointed Lead Teacher in 2003 and promoted to Assistant Preschool Director in 2004. She also helped the preschool develop a Summer Fun School Program. She accepted the position as Preschool Administrator for the fall of 2005. Mrs. Heironimus is passionate about the developmental needs of preschoolers and feels that the curriculum created by the school is the best around! Not only does it provide structure, but it also incorporates the Christian education along with a hands-on curriculum that allows students to grow both academically and spiritually. She believes working with young children is a ministry and considers it a blessing to hold a position that allows her to share God’s love and grace on a daily basis with students, parents and staff.
